Learn to relate what you are learning to the old. This will make it easier for you to remember the things you need to know about both.
2. Repeat :-
If you repeat something in your mind, it will be easier to remember. Or, you can memorize anything by constantly writing it down on a piece of paper. It will be easier to remember the words written from it.
3. Use a New Way :-
If you are trying to remember an event, try a new way. For example, if you are trying to remember the names of nine planets, you can use the method of 'My Very Educated Mother Just Shows Us Nine Planets'. The name of the planet comes from the first letter of each word. Or, you can memorize words in a formulaic way.
4. Write on a card :-
When you try to remember important times, dates, formulas, etc., write on a fly card. You can view the card whenever you need it.
5. Sing and improve your memory :-
Music stays in your mind easily because of its rhythm. Set the thing you want to remember to the tune of your favorite song. This will make you remember something for a long time.
6. Feel what you have read :-
Try to make a picture of what you have read in your mind, so that you can remember things for a long time. As you read, start thinking about those words. Imagine what the object would look like, its aroma, shape, type, taste, and so on.
7. Give an example :-
When you associate something with a good life, it becomes a kind of imprint in the brain and is easy to remember. It is also said that a person can barely use 5 to 7 percent of his brain in his lifetime, he cannot use the rest.
